Accreditation

When choosing a DNA testing laboratory, you may want to consider the accreditations that the laboratory has earned. The number of accreditations a laboratory has may or may not indicate the quality of testing services it offers to its clients. Also, depending on your purpose for DNA testing, some laboratories will not be able to provide you with the results you need.

Please remember that if you need results that are admissible in chain of custody testing, you need to choose a laboratory that is accredited by AABB. Also, if you are a resident of New York, you should be sure to choose a laboratory that is certified by the New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH).
